Previously, Peeler served as a special assistant for the assistant secretary of economic policy in the US Department of the Treasury, and as a consultant with Health Advances, Cannon Associates and Bain & Co. Currently, he serves on the board of several privately-held companies, serves as Chair of the Board of National Vision Inc (EYE), Chair of the Board of the Huntington Theatre Company and serves on the board of visitors for the Sanford School of Policy at Duke and the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard as well as the board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston. He received an AB from Duke and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
