Chelsea brings a decade of political law experience to her role. Most recently, she spent five years at Google advising on political law compliance and exploring the use of AI tools to modernize compliance delivery. Prior to Google, Chelsea spent six years as an associate at Steptoe & Johnson LLP, counseling corporations, trade associations, PACs, and advocacy organizations on federal and state campaign finance, lobbying, and government ethics compliance.

Chelsea holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, and a B.A. in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College. She lives in Portland, Maine with her husband and three children.
