Ned Witting, WA HD-25

A successful entrepreneur, Ned and his partners founded Print NW in 2002, adding 150 jobs between 2002 and 2016.

Ned is a Certified Public Accountant and has served as an auditor and financial officer for most of his career.  He’s even been fired for refusing to “cook the books.”  When people call him a Boy Scout, he takes it as a compliment.  He’s served as a scout leader for more than 30 years.  As a youth in scouting, he was taught to leave things better than he found them.  That’s what he wants to do in the state legislature.  He is running as an Independent so he can vote his conscience, without partisan pressures.  If you hate politics, Ned is the person for you.

Over the years, he has been a vocal supporter of better government, authoring articles, letters to the editor, and a book titled Political Gridlock – It’s Time for a Reboot.   By running for public office, he is putting his ideals into action.  His goal in Olympia is to help members of both parties recognize their common interests and find common ground.  An effort that will benefit all Washingtonians.

Ned is also a successful business leader and entrepreneur.  He and his partners founded Print NW in Puyallup in 2002.  Between 2002 and 2016 they created over 150 new jobs in Pierce County.  He is an active member of his church and has served in a variety of leadership positions including on the high council.  He is happily married to his sweetheart of more than 30 years.  He is the father of 4 children, all graduates of either Rogers or Emerald Ridge high schools.

Ned has a BBA from the College of William and Mary, an MBA from Santa Clara University and is the recipient of the Boy Scout Silver Beaver distinguished service award. He has also served on the Boards of the Pacific Harbors Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the League of Women Voters, the Association of Washington Business and Washington Independents.
