We are currently accepting applications for Summer 2020. The program is based at our headquarters in beautiful Denver, Colorado, with remote opportunities available on a case-by-case basis. We are hiring both full-time and part-time applicants, and stipends may be available to qualified candidates.

Marketing & Communications Intern

Marketing & Communications Interns help amplify Unite America's message and grow our community. Here's how:

  • Drafting daily content for all social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Managing media opportunities list and engagements
  • Contributing to digital strategizing and analysis
  • Designing digital content, including photos, videos, press releases and/or reports

Marketing & Comms Interns should have demonstrated experience in digital marketing, content creation, writing (preferably politically-oriented), and/or social media.

Political Intern

Political Interns learn just what it takes to pull off a successful campaign, from research to strategy to execution. They can be placed in either our Denver or DC office. Here's how you'll make an impact:

  • Identifying and evaluating potential candidates and target districts
  • Researching state or municipal policy issues; producing memos to staff members & interested parties
  • Tracking relevant campaign updates, communications, and news articles
  • Supporting polling implementation and analysis
  • Contacting organization supporters & volunteers to mobilize support for candidates & reform ballot issues

Political Interns should have a demonstrated interest in politics, preferably with an academic background in political science, government, legal studies, history, or another related major. Experience working for political campaigns is also heavily weighed.

Investment Intern

Investment Interns support Unite America's portfolio through the evaluation of potential structural reform and movement capacity investments. That might include:

  • Drafting memos on campaign viability
  • Tracking and synthesizing relevant campaign updates, communications, and news articles
  • Researching prospective investments
  • Strengthening partnerships with aligned reform organizations

Investment Interns should have a strong interest in political reform and should excel at research, writing, and analysis. Background in political science or campaigns is a major plus.
