  • Marketing & Communications Intern (Denver + Remote)
  • Policy & Research Intern (Denver + Remote)

We are currently accepting applications! The program is based at our headquarters in beautiful Denver, Colorado, with remote opportunities available on a case-by-case basis. We are hiring both full-time and part-time applicants, and stipends may be available to qualified candidates.

Marketing & Communications Intern

Marketing & Communications interns help amplify Unite America's message and grow our community. Here's how:

  • Drafting daily content for all social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Managing media opportunities list and engagements
  • Contributing to digital strategizing and analysis
  • Designing digital content, including photos, videos, press releases and/or reports

Marketing & Comms interns should have demonstrated experience in digital marketing, content creation, writing (preferably politically-oriented), and/or social media.

Policy & Research Intern

Policy & Research interns support Unite America's investment and partnerships team by evaluating the merits, impact, and potential of various electoral structural reforms and contributing to projects that strengthen relationships with our partners. Work may include:

  • Conducting research on the four key Unite America policy issues: ranked choice voting, vote at home, nonpartisan primaries, and independent redistricting commissions
  • Supporting the production of new original analysis and publications, such as a project to examine the relationship between electoral reforms and effective governance
  • Evaluating the status of reform in various states and tracking new pieces of legislation
  • Strengthening partnerships with aligned reform organizations

Policy & Research interns should have a strong interest in political reform and should excel at research, writing, and analysis. Background in political science or campaigns is a major plus.
