Bill Grassie, WA CD-8

Bill’s qualifications include a 30 year business career with executive experience at Microsoft, Dell, and Sprint. His extensive corporate, small business and agricultural background match the WA 8th district uniquely.

Running for: Washington's 8th Congressional District

Born and raised in Kansas, Bill started hauling hay at age of 13 (when he didn’t weigh much more than the bales of hay).  To earn money for college, Bill took a job at 16 as a city department head.

Bill put himself through college working during the summer and owning a small business. He graduated with a Business and Economics Degree from Pittsburg State University and continued on to earn my MBA from the University of Kansas.  He has also achieved success in the corporate world with a career that spanned 30 years including executive experience at Microsoft, Dell, and Sprint.  Bill moved to Fall City and the 8th district in 2006 to work for Microsoft and still resides in that peaceful setting up the hill from the Snoqualmie River.

In the last several years, Bill has returned to his roots by starting and growing his winery.  Bill enjoys the wine-making process because it is creative and keeps him grounded.
